On the first day of the Glasstec 2000 fair at Dsseldorf in late October, Managing Director Ian Harrison and Deputy Managing Director Steven Taylor from Speed Frame signed a purchase agreement with Bystronic for a cutting, breaking and sorting system, and with Lenhardt for a TPS(R) Thermo Plastic Spacer-insulating glass production line. The purchase was made for the company“s new 5,500 m2 plant which will be opening at Goldthorpe, UK, next summer. Speed Frame is one of the main PVCu window manufacturers in Great Britain and wishes to propel the company to the cutting edge of glass plant innovation in the UK with the help of the technologically advanced equipment of Bystronic and Lenhardt. The following day at Glasstec, Speed Frame signed a deal also with Kmmerling for sealants for the same processing line.
