Slovakia“s Slovglass Poltar, a lead and soda potash glass producer, generated revenues worth Sk 665 million last year, a year-on-year increase of 21%, and hiked its share of exports to 84.6% of total production, nearly Sk 563 million, production director Lubomir said. Slovglass managed to stabilize its position in the US market, where the company exports up to half of its production, and also in the British, Japanese, German and Norwegian markets. According to Zan, last year the company did not have problems with sales but supplies, as the demand often exceeded the glassworks“ capacity. The company also has plants in Zlatno and Katarinska Huta.
