Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd sees its year to September 2004 sales up at least 9% from the year-ago figure of MYR 1.61 billion, and improving further to MYR 2 billion in the following fiscal year, CEO Tan Ang Meng was quoted as saying. The optimism is based on strong growth in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, during which sales rose 9% year-on-year to MYR 1.3 billion, he said. Looking ahead, the company is expecting stronger sales growth from its beverage and dairy products segment as well as its glass-making business. Among company plans to further grow its business are expansion of the Shah Alam plant, the acquisition of land to build a new plant, and upgrading of equipment and machinery, he said.
