Those wishing to take part in this year’s 76th Conference on Glass Problems have another two weeks to submit their abstract by the deadline of 26 January. Co-organized by the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council and Alfred University, the conference will be taking place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center 2-5 November 2015.

Engineers, educators, students, and solution-providers are requested to submit 400-word abstracts regarding the following topics:
• Glass melting
• Refractories
• Process control and sensors
• Modelling
• Energy and emissions
• Raw materials, batching, and recycling
• Other area relevant to the glass industry
The Conference on Glass Problems attracts glass manufacturers and suppliers worldwide to exchange innovations and solutions. Attendees can take part in expert lectures, panel discussions and focused courses, along with exhibits and social events.
