Sparklike: New calibration centres coming

In the beginning of Sparklike’s history, calibrations were only done in Finland, where the company HQ is located. Soon Sparklike recognized that its devices were sold worldwide, which made Sparklike rethink its service strategy. The company wanted to shorten service lead times and be responsible from a sustainability point of view by shortening the transportation distance.

Likeminded distributors – Customer service is the core
Sparklike started to search for potential distributors that are also able and willing to add Sparklike Handheld calibration to their service portfolio. In the beginning, the company searched in North America and Asia, as they have the longest distance to Finland.

Currently the company has Sparklike Authorized Calibration and Service Centres in South Korea (AT Spacer) and in the US (GED Integrated Solutions) that perform calibrations for Sparklike Handhelds. The outcome during these years was a success and the feedback from customers is excellent, as the service has eased their operations.

Shorter service lead time and localized solutions
Based on experience in the United States and South Korea, Sparklike Service Centre has been recognized as a solid concept and the company is searching for partners who see the value of Sparklike’s products and are willing to commit to the Sparklike service business.

This has already met with success, and Sparklike will announce new calibration centres in 2024. For device owners, this means that Sparklike Authorized Calibration and Service Centres for Sparklike Handheldâ„¢ will be closer to customers, which will lower service lead times and customers might have the service in their own language. Additionally, it also reduces carbon footprint as the transportation distance reduces.
