The conference is organised by Christian Louter (TU Delft), Freek Bos (TU Munich) and Jan Belis (UGent) and has been held at TU Delft, EPFL and Ghent University. The upcoming edition, Challenging Glass 9, will be hosted by Christian Louter, James O’Callaghan, Mauro Overend and Fred Veer and will be held June 19 and 20, 2024, at the Aula Congrescentrum at TU Delft, in Delft, The Netherlands.

The two-day conference programme contains well over 100 paper presentations, a circularity debate and fascinating keynote presentations by Faidra Oikonomopoulou (TU Delft), Telesilla Bristogianni (TU Delft), Alexandros Cannas (Eckersley O’Callaghan), Peter Zoon (Netherlands Forensic Institute) and Corentin Fivet (EPFL).
