The controls are intuitive and the user-friendly interface is easy to get to grips with. For additional transparency and flexibility, Rapidline has open data interfaces. The glass cutting system is easy to integrate in line solutions with loading and breakout tables from various manufacturers, and the system can also be networked with the HEGLA-HANIC Cockpit.

Features

  • Fully automated model cutting system for float glass (automatic glass position sensing, cutting, glass transport, optional decoating)
  • Electro-magnetic linear drives
  • Controlled using full-graphic software package
  • Can be connected to automatic glass loading systems (e.g. HEGLA Rapidloader)
  • Can be extended to build a system cutting line
  • Alternatively, the Rapidline can be integrated into an existing cutting solution

Functional description
The glass loading system has either a new or an existing loading unit upstream (e.g. a system loader). The system automatically senses the position of the glass and adapts its cutting movements accordingly. Automatic edge decoating (optional) is used for coated panes of glass. The contour is scored according to the exact specifications of the cutting diagram.

The software allows to draw up your cutting diagram either on a PC or the system itself. The scored glass is conveyed onto the manual break table, where it is broken by the operator.
