UNITECR 2025, the 19th Unified International Technical Conference on Refractories, regrets to announce that its President, Mauro Cueva, has had to step aside from his role at the organization due to a recent health issue.

I know he was looking forward with enthusiasm to have a very special 19th biennial congress. This is still the goal as we move forward with our plans. We all send Mauro our very best wishes.”
At the same ALAFAR meeting, Jessica Fernández, Administrative VP at WM Refractories, was appointed to take on the vacant UNITECR 2025 Vice President role.
