Corning has been awarded a USD 8.3 million grant to help it grow its Vineland, NJ, US plant. |

The Vineland facility is a joint venture between Corning and Gerresheimer and is designed to create a hub for manufacturing of clear and amber borosilicate glass tubing used in vials, cartridges, ampules and syringes. |
NJ state officials recently awarded the firm the 10-year grant to encourage it to invest in the Vineland plant, where it employs 185 full-time staff. |
Corning and Gerresheimer recently entered into a 10- year supply agreement for borosilicate tubing. |
