Baku Glass 2016 opens its doors on 1 March

Baku Glass, the first event dedicated to the technologies and solutions for glass processing in the Caucasus and the Caspian sea area, opens its doors to visitors on 1 March 2016.

At the Holiday Inn Baku Congress Centre, major suppliers of machinery and technological solutions amongst the 35 companies taking part from Italy, Germany, Finland, France, Switzerland, China, Turkey and Russia will be glad to welcome managers, technicians and other sector professionals from glassworks in Azerbaijan and neighboring countries. Baku Glass will showcase the latest solutions for batch plants, melting and float furnaces, refractory materials, forming machines for glass containers, vials and ampoules, tableware, special glasses, coating and decoration, and handling lines for flat and hollow glass. Visitors will be able to talk directly to firms supplying tempering and laminating furnaces, grinders, washing machines, CNC Machines, insulating glass lines, and control and vision systems, amongst others.
Also on day one, the conference sessions of GPD BAKU (Glass Performance Days) will commence at 13.30 with a full program of papers from industry experts covering quality, energy efficiency, new product innovations, glass processing, and safety.
