Italy’s Biesse spa, a maker of woodworking machinery for doors, windows and furniture, has recently signed an agreement to buy 80 percent of Turkey’s Nury Baylar A.S. for about $1.1 million.
Nury Baylar A.S. has been active in the woodworking machinery equipment sector since 1971 and has its headquarters in Istanbul. It employees 30 workers.
The Biesse Group designs, manufactures and distributes machinery, integrated systems and software for fenestration and other applications.
