Drujba Glassworks [BUL:4DR], the Bulgarian unit of Greek glassware and bottle maker Yioula, said on Monday its first-half net profit edged up 1% to 12.1 million levs ($6.9 million/6.2 million euro) from 12 million levs a year earlier.
In the second quarter alone, Drujba Glassworks’ net profit was 34% higher compared to the same period last year, the company said in a bourse filing.
Sales revenues increased by an annual 3% to 119 million lev in the first half of 2015, and by an annual 8% to 69.9 million levs in the second quarter.
Drujba Glassworks has two production units one in Sofia and the other in Bulgaria’s second-largest city of Plovdiv, in the south of the country.
