Jim Beam bourbon sauce bottle captures flavour of American south

Glass packaging manufacturer Beatson Clark has captured the flavour of the American south in the new bespoke bottle designed for JIM BEAM® Original Bourbon Sauce.

The bottle design echoes the shape of the replica 1940s American Stillhouse at the Jim Beam distillery in Kentucky.

The bourbon sauce, made using Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, is described as rich, smokey and sweet.

Charlotte Taylor, Marketing Manager at Beatson Clark, said “Our customer was looking for a signature bottle that would stand out on the shelf and have a weighty, premium look and feel, while at the same time communicating the Jim Beam brand.”

The bottle is designed to look more like a spirit bottle than a sauce bottle. It has the words Jim Beam embossed on the shoulders.

“Embossing is a popular option at the moment, giving brands the opportunity to make a statement with a unique bottle design. “Our new design software means we can sculpt the embossing, making it more defined as well as easier to manufacture.”
