Heye International and IRIS Inspection machines held a workshop devoted to the critical subject of safety during the recently held edition of Glassman in Lyon, France.
On 5th May 2015 Heye International, in cooperation with IRIS Inspection machines, hosted a workshop devoted to the critical subject of safety: ‘Safety in the plant – Safety for consumers’. The importance of safety for glass plants is realized more and more in modern glass production facilities. Therefore, Heye and IRIS worked out an interesting bunch of safety opportunities the companies provide its customers. Speakers emphasised the benefits the latest safety innovations offer: Protection of employees and equipment with simultaneous increase of production yields. This can be achieved by the application of Industry 4.0 concept in the Heye SpeedLine IS-Machine in combination with the Heye Multilevel Safety Concept. Speakers also referred about the latest innovations in glass container inspection with Heye highlighting the PlantPilot information management system and the non-contact features of its SmartLine series. IRIS Inspection machines was presenting the latest advances in Evolution non-contact inspection systems. About 30 people of six countries participated in the workshop and evening event prior to the Glassman Europe exhibition held on May 6 and 7.
