Bormioli Rocco SPA announces appointment of new Chairman

Bormioli Rocco’s new chairman is Riccardo Garré, who has 26 years of experience in different industries, more recently at Saint-Gobain, one of the world’s leading flat glass manufacturers.

Bormioli Rocco has announced the appointment of its new Chairman – Riccardo Garré, who brings with him 26 years’ successful experience across various heavy industries, including glass manufacturing.
Garré currently serves as CEO of the Europe’s leading merchant steel bar producer Beltrame Group. He previously worked at KME Group, a leading player in the global copper processing industry, from 2009 to 2014, initially as COO and latterly as CEO. He also chaired of the Board of Directors of KME AG.
Garré has extensive experience in the glass industry, working for nine years (2000-2009) at Saint-Gobain, one of the world’s leading flat glass manufacturers. He was General Manager of the Global Division producing tempered glass for home appliances, and then CEO of Saint-Gobain Glass Italia SpA, and more recently General Manager of Saint-Gobain Glass France.
He holds a degree in Physics from University of Pisa. He speaks Italian, English and French.
