More glass urges Glass for Europe

“What would our world be like without glass?”: this is the question posed by Glass for Europe in its #more glass social media campaign.

Glass for Europe, of which NSG Group is a member, is the trade association of European manufacturers of flat glass for building, automotive and transport applications.
Using iconic images from art, cinema and life in general, the trade association has issued a set of striking photographs accompanied by thought-provoking questions. Buildings, cars, electronic devices, photovoltaic panels, display screens and refrigerators – glass is essential to the modern world. This is the underlying message from Glass for Europe.
What would museums be like without glass? This is the latest question asked by Glass for Europe. Glass is essential in museums for the display of paintings and historic artefacts. Security glass such as Pilkington Optilam™ can be designed to provide resistance to manual attack, while anti-reflectance glass such as Pilkington OptiView™ can ensure a clear view of the objects without distracting reflections.
