Verallia at BrauBeviale Trade Fair

“Glass is the right packaging for natural goodness” was the message conveyed by Verallia Deutschland at BrauBeviale, the world’s premier drinks industry trade fair.

The container glass manufacturer presented its latest glass innovations and creative services in Nuremberg, Germany, from 11 to 13 November 2014.
The drinks industry trade fair attracted record exhibitor and visitor numbers. Those manning the Verallia Deutschland stand shared the organizers’ immense satisfaction. “Our conversations with clients confirmed what we had already noted in recent months: quality manufacturers in the drinks sector are returning to a greater reliance on glass than in the recent past,” said company chairman Stefan Jaenecke.
“Made by nature – protected by glass” was Verallia Deutschland’s motto at this year’s BrauBeviale. On show were new models of bottle for the wine, beer and spirits sector, combining tradition with nobility and grace.
A singular feature on the Verallia Deutschland stand at BrauBeviale was a ‘bottle tree’: bottles of every shade of green made up the ‘leaves,’ while the trunk was made of brown glass, with the aim of representing natural goodness and the recycling philosophy embodied by glass.
A new attraction at this year’s fair was an audio video portrayal of the creative work and all-round service at the Design Centre showing the versatile design options and the combined potential of the worldwide family of Verallia.
Prominent among Verallia’s services to clients and business partners was a ‘Virtual Glass’ app, which exploits present-day possibilities of technical presentation. iPad users can create glass bottles and jars of varied shapes and colours, and modify them at the stroke of a finger. They obtain an instant, virtual display of every conceivable design facet, from mouths and apertures to labels.
Around 1300 international exhibitors at BrauBeviale displayed solutions throughout the beverage production chain, from raw materials to ideal packaging. More than 37,000 visitors from the world drinks trade gathered to find out about the latest innovations.
