Boyde Group opens new locations

Boyde Group has recently added two new collision repair locations in Idaho and Seattle, thus increasing its presence in these two important areas. The two new locations previously operated under the names Lake City Auto Body and Malo’s Auto Body respectively.

The Boyd Group Inc. has opened new collision repair locations. The first, which previously operated under the name Lake City Auto Body, was opened in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and has approximately 13,500 square feet of production space.
“We continue our North American expansion with the opening of this new repair centre and are very pleased to increase our footprint in the greater Spokane area,” says Tim O’Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group’s US operations. “Our first Idaho centre has the benefit of being well-positioned, within about 30 miles east of our Spokane centre, which will allow our Washington leadership team to manage the location.”
“Coeur d’Alene, also known as Lake City, has a year-round tourism industry due to the mountains and lakes that surround it, which will allow us to introduce our brand to all who may require our services when they visit here,” O’Day adds. “We look forward to providing the Idaho market with the high quality experience we are known for at all our Gerber repair centres.”
The second centre, located in Seattle, Washington, which has approximately 7,900 square feet of production space, previously operated under the name Malo’s Auto Body.
“We are very pleased to increase our presence in the Seattle market with this centre in West Seattle, which is located between our shop at Thorndyke Avenue in Seattle and another in Renton, Washington,” says Tim O’Day, president and chief operating officer of the Boyd Group’s US operations. “We are also proud to acquire this location which has served West Seattle for over 58 years.”
