SCHOTT displays Kodiak heavy-duty walk-in doors for beer caves

SCHOTT North America showcased Kodiak heavy-duty walk-in doors for beer caves at the Southern Convenience Store and Petroleum Show.

SCHOTT North America showcased the strength of Kodiak heavy-duty walk-in doors for beer caves at the Southern Convenience Store and Petroleum Show, held at the Macon Centreplex in Macon, Georgia on November 12 and 13. Underwood Restaurant and Store Equipment displayed SCHOTT’s Kodiak doors at booth #609.
Beer caves are one of the most highly trafficked areas for any convenience store, supermarket, or beer distributor, with beer sales accounting for approximately 8 percent of all convenience store sales. This means that large, walk-in coolers that chill and store bulk beer cases experience constant in-and-out traffic, requiring a more rugged set of doors. SCHOTT developed its Kodiak refrigeration doors, one of the strongest systems on the market, to withstand the harshest environments.
Kodiak doors are built strong to handle the constant pounding of everyday use and supplier demands. These heavy-duty doors match the strength of the store’s main entrance doors, while preventing cold air loss from caves kept below 35 degrees Fahrenheit, keeping beer cold and reducing energy loss.
“SCHOTT’s Kodiak doors are the most trusted heavy-duty walk-in refrigeration doors on the market, with retailers like RaceTrac, Parker’s, Thornton’s, and 7-Eleven already relying on them to seal their cold cases,” said Martin Doyle, Director of Sales and Marketing Food Display at SCHOTT. “As convenience stores evolve to meet changing customer demands, SCHOTT strives to offer them the best refrigeration glasses on the market to ensure high durability, reliability, and functionality.”
Kodiak doors are available with non-heated glass and heated glass for high humidity locations. All Kodiak doors carry a five-year warranty on all components, including hydraulic closer, lock, push bar, handles, and frame, and a 10-year warranty on the glass.
