VDMA supports networking of international glass and solar industries

Solar meets Glass – International Summit for the Glass and Solar Industry will be held 20-21 October in Dusseldorf, during glasstec. During the conference, leading industry experts will be reporting on future emerging markets, innovative technologies, new business opportunities in the PV and glass markets and on Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV).

At the “Solar meets Glass” conference, the main international event connecting the solar and glass industries, leading industry experts will be reporting on future emerging markets, innovative technologies, new business opportunities in the PV and glass markets and on Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) – trends and implications.
Another major topic of the event will be the “Photovoltaic Module Manufacturers Dialogue”. Here, industry experts make technology and process demands to the glass industry and the equipment providers, and discuss strategies for sustainable business developments.
The conference is directly connected to the international leading trade fair glasstec held in Dusseldorf from October 21-24, 2014 and thus promises a high-profile participation. The participation profile includes decision makers, developers and experts from the glass, the solar and the equipment industry, representatives of BIPV-related industries, PV recyclers, suppliers of automation technology, bankers and analysts.
The ticket fee is EUR 595 plus VAT. For members of the partner organizations and exhibitors of the glasstec the ticket fee is EUR 495 plus VAT.
The event takes place for the fourth time – in cooperation between Messe Dusseldorf and OTTI, the Ostbayerisches Technologie-Transfer-Institut eV. It is supported by VDMA Glass Technology and VDMA Photovoltaic Equipment.
