Guillaume de Fougières is the new Executive Chairman of the Saverglass group, taking over from Loïc Quentin Gromard, who led the group since 1985.
The appointment of Guillaume de Fougières as Executive Chairman of the Saverglass group completes the succession prepared by Loïc Quentin Gromard and Astorg Partners, to ensure strategic business continuity. Loïc Quentin Gromard, who led the group since 1985, will be appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Fougières has previously held senior Finance Department positions within groups Unilever, Mars and Valeo before spending ten years in the glass industry: he joined ARC International in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer. He successively became Director of the International Division in 2004 and Director of the Europe Division in 2007 and CEO of Arc International, a position he held for five years before joining Saverglass in January 2014.
