Diamon-Fusion International has announced that its new director of marketing is Syndi Sim, who has more than 15 years strategic marketing, client acquisition and business development experience.
Russell Slaybaugh, General Manager and Vice President of Diamon-Fusion International Inc., global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, has announced that Syndi Sim has joined the team as director of marketing. Sim brings more than 15 years strategic marketing, client acquisition and business development experience to DFI. In her role, Sim will be responsible for developing and executing worldwide marketing strategies to continue building the DFI brand as the world’s premium protective coating supplier for architectural and transportation surfaces.

Previously, Sim served as the director of marketing for several companies, including Lexipol, a risk management company, Penco Engineering, a civil engineering company and New Century Financial, a mortgage lender. At Lexipol, Sim established strategic marketing, business development and client communication programmes designed to capitalize on market opportunities, brand awareness and generated demand. While at Penco, she helped develop new business, client relationships and corporate sales programs for multiple offices, including strategic planning, corporate marketing, brand identification, and lead generation. While at New Century Mortgage and Home123, she was responsible for new business development for the NASCAR partnership, national branding and developing tactical marketing initiatives for the new homebuilder division. Syndi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Masters of Arts in Criminology.
