DSF’s new Area Sales Manager is Nigel Longshaw, who was previously with Ceram where, for the last 11 years, he had commercial responsibility for materials consultancy.
UK group DSF Refractories & Minerals has announced the appointment of Nigel Longshaw as Area Sales Manager. Longshaw joins DSF from Ceram where, for the last 11 years, he had commercial responsibility for its materials consultancy.
Much of his time was spent growing Ceram’s business in the glass, petrochemical and cement industries, working closely with many of DSF’s key clients.
Nigel has a ceramics background, starting his commercial career selling industrial minerals for Tilcon Industrial Minerals before working for both Schott Glass and Monax Glass.
He will predominantly cover part of DSF’s European market including the key areas of France and Italy.
On joining DSF Nigel said “I’ve watched DSF grow over the years to become a major refractory producer. I am very excited to be joining DSF and look forward to helping the company grow further in the future.”
