During the Glass Alliance’s last Steering Committee, Jean-Philippe Martel was appointed General Manager, supporting and assisting the sales organizations of the four members in acquiring new projects for the Glass Alliance.
The general management of the Glass Alliance has been entrusted to an expert in glass plant projects.
During its last Steering Committee at the end of April 2013, Jean-Philippe Martel was appointed General Manager of the Container Glass Alliance, with effect as of 1 May 2013. In this position, he supports and assists the sales organizations of the four members in acquiring new projects for the Glass Alliance.
His predecessor, William Grüninger, will devote his full time to his demanding tasks of Vice President Technical Services at Emhart Glass.
Martel, speaking four languages, has spent over 15 years in the management of projects in the glass industry, all over the world. For the last four years, he was Business Development Manager at SNC-LAVALIN, one of the leaders in construction and engineering.
