During the recently-held Suez Canal Development Project conference, it was predicted that, thanks to this new project, and to the collaboration of Egyptian and international expertise, Egypt is on its way to a new promising era.
The Suez Canal Development Project conference was organized on Monday 20 May at Cairo International Convention Center (CICC) by The International Business and Investment Association “IBIA” and under the patronage of the Egyptian prime minster Dr.”Hesham Kandil”.
The conference hosted a number of ministers and governors in different sectors in addition to Egyptian and foreign investors and businessmen.
During the conference, it was predicted that, thanks to this new project, and to the collaboration of Egyptian and international expertise, Egypt is on its way to a new promising era.
Outputs to be achieved by means of this project include:
• regional development strategy for the Suez canal in logistical, industrial, maritime transport and touristic matrix, making it a crucial centre in the foreign trade;
• building new industrial zones to attract inwards investments;
• facilitate maritime transport and traffic services to reach ultimate ports and centres.
