Hainan AVIC Glass Material has successfully produced online low-E ultra-white extra-thick glass, with a thickness of 15mm, with heat transfer coefficient of a single sheet being 36% lower than that of common float glass.
The technical R&D team of Hainan AVIC Glass Material Co., Ltd. has reported that it has successfully produced online low-E ultra-white extra-thick glass, with a thickness of 15mm. This is the first production line of online low-E ultra-white extra-thick glass in the world to come into being and this 15mm thick glass becomes the thickest low-E glass in the world.
Heat transfer coefficient of a single sheet of 15mm thick online low-E ultra-white extra-thick glass is 36% lower than that of common float glass. It also saves one third more energy than a single sheet of common glass.
The online low-E ultra-white extra-thick glass in Hainan is significant to expand the international and domestic market of architectural energy-saving glass.
