LandGlass: tempering furnace success after decades of effort

Participation in this year’s edition of glasstec was highly fruitful for LandGlass. The company was present with a booth, and also gave a presentation during the glass technology live show.

After many years of participation in glasstec, showing its advanced forced convection glass tempering technology, at this year’s exhibition, LandGlass focused on promoting the newly-developed variable curvature glass tempering furnace as well as a series of furnace performance improvements. Since the variable curvature glass tempering furnace was developed successfully and brought to the market this year, LandGlass has started the batch processing of various variable curvature tempered glasses at its R&D base for some glass processing customers. Accordingly, before furnace delivery, these customers can provide such tempered glass products to manufacturers of freezers, food display cases, etc. With technologies for forced convection and soft shaft & hard shaft arcing as the core, LandGlass displayed a series of improvements in other types of tempering furnaces, and the results were satisfactory. These technologies have been applied and approved by customers, which plays a positive role in developing European and American markets for LandGlass.
During the glass technology live forum, LandGlass gave a technical lecture on “New Concept Energy Saving Glass” for industry experts. Compared with existing energy-saving glass products, the new concept energy saving glasses have distinguished advantages in such aspects as heat and sound insulation, strength, service life, security, structural dimension, consequently attracting customers to LandGlass’s booth.
In spite of the lackluster world economy and debt crisis, LandGlass has achieved stable growth in terms of sales volume of tempering furnaces in recent years, as well as breakthroughs in the European market.
