Bostik appoints Sustainable Development Manager

Bostik UK has created a new position in the company – Sustainable Development Manager – and has appointed Richard Howells to take up this role. Bostik has a continued commitment to developing sustainable practice in the production of sealants for insulating glass units, and across its whole business.

Bostik UK has announced the appointment of Richard Howells as Sustainable Development Manager. This newly created post signals Bostik’s continued commitment to developing sustainable practice in the production of sealants for insulating glass units, and across its whole business.
Richard previously led groundbreaking sustainability programmes at one of the largest steel manufacturers in Europe, with particular focus on sustainable practices and responsible sourcing of construction products. He holds a PhD in construction technology.
On his appointment, Richard commented: “I’m delighted to be joining Bostik and looking forward to continuing the positive work already in place to ensure the company leads the way in sustainability. A key part of my role will be to work closely with partners on product development, production and delivery across our major brands.”
