Second lawsuit for CBO Glass

A second lawsuit has been filed against contract glazier CBO Glass with regards to its failure to pay amounts due under collective bargaining agreements with local unions. CBO Glass was in 15th position in the 2011 Top 50 Glaziers list, with annual sales of between USD 30 million and USD 40 million.

CBO Glass is facing a second lawsuit stemming from claims it failed to pay amounts due under collective bargaining agreements with local unions. The lawsuit filed against the contract glazier claims it “failed to make all contributions due for the months of November 2011 through March 2012 to the Iron Workers.” The plaintiffs are seeking almost USD 200,000 for unpaid contributions, liquidated damages, interest on late or unpaid payments, and costs and attorney fees, according to court documents.
The International Painters and Allied Trades Industry Pension Fund also filed suit against CBO Glass on 30 March, claiming the contract glazier “failed to pay amounts due under the Labor Contracts, Trust Agreements and Plan from May 2011 to February 2012 in at least the sum of USD 472,813.83.” CBO was recently granted an extension to 29 May to file an answer to the suit.
