Tubelite hires client development manager for Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey

Tubelite has named Bob McNamara of Robert McNamara Sales as client development manager for Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. McNamara represents the company’s membership in the US Green Building Council, the Construction Specifications Institute and other industry associations.

Bob McNamara of Robert McNamara Sales has joined Tubelite Inc. as client development manager. As an independent sales representative based in Cape May County, N.J., he provides Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey with storefront, curtainwall, entrance and daylight control systems.
McNamara has more than 25 years of experience in the glass, glazing and architectural metal industry, and has been employed in estimating, project management and sales, as well as in the development of architectural metal products.
“There is already a strong interest in Tubelite’s Force Front systems. Tubelite offers a range of products to address the extremes endured by our buildings. Hurricane impact performance is very important along the coast, and a requirement of IBC (International Building Code),” says McNamara.
He continues, “The region’s seasonal variability means that temperatures can be -10 degrees in the winter and 100+ degrees in the summer. Thermal performance is a must-have, such as the Therml=Block entrances and curtainwall. Daylighting devices, like Tubelite’s Max/Block sun shades and aLuminate light shelves, help manage interior comfort as well as contribute to energy efficiency. As a nation, we need to do more to be energy efficient, to be green and to be sustainable. This includes conserving resources by specifying products be manufactured with recycled content.”
Supporting these green goals, all of Tubelite’s products are manufactured using EcoLuminum™, a high recycled-content aluminium billet composition with eco-friendly, durable finishes. Helping architects learn more about selecting environmentally-responsible products, Tubelite offers educational presentations available through the American Institute of Architects’ Continuing Education System (AIA/CES).
In addition to offering Tubelite’s AIA/CES presentations, McNamara represents the company’s membership in the US Green Building Council, the Construction Specifications Institute and other industry associations. He also volunteers on the community hospital board for Jeanes Hospital, part of the Temple University Health System, in Philadelphia.
