The National Depression Glass Association (NDGA) will open a glass museum in Wellington featuring American made glass from the Victorian Era through the mid-century and up to the 1970s, with an emphasis on the Depression era, to be opened to the public early in 2012.
The national collection, consisting of more than 8,500 pieces of glass, has been housed in warehouses in Wichita for a number of years.
The NDGA, which is a US organization with more than 500 members, holds a convention with a show and sale each year in the second weekend of July.
