The ninth edition of Zak Glass Technology Expo returns to Mumbai after the successful eighth edition in New Delhi. Nearly 78% of the exhibitors have re-confirmed their participation. The ninth edition of Zak Glass Technology Expo is to be held from 8-11 December 2011 at MMRDA Exhibition Center, Mumbai, India. The eighth edition, which was held in New Delhi in December 2010, had 220 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and attracted over 18,000 visitors from 14 countries. Thanks to the huge infrastructure boom ongoing in India, every area of the Indian economy is benefiting from investments, especially in the construction industry. For India, glass is the new jewel in construction and has become an essential product in this sector to meet the growing demands of the Indian population for the modern, safe products. This ninth edition is supported GIMAV Association of the Italian Manufacturers & Suppliers of Machinery, Equipment and Special Products for Glass Processing; CCPS Confederation of Construction Products & Services; AIGPA All India Glass Processors Association; AIGGA All India Glass & Glazing Manufacturers & Dealers Association; AIDWA All India Doors & Windows Manufacturers Association; and IHMA Indian Hardware Manufacturers. Over 250 companies, of which 80 of the world“s leading suppliers and manufacturers, are expected to take part in this exhibition to network with their industry colleagues. The event is co-located with the eighth edition of Zak Doors & Windows Expo, which is India“s largest show on Doors, windows, faades, technology components and products and the third edition of Zak Aluminium Extrusions, which is the only exclusive trade show in the world on aluminium extrusions, technologies, applications and products.
