In recognition of the importance of GlassPrint on the global glass event calendar, the 2011 event will be powered by glasstec, the world“s largest glass fair. The announcement follows the relocation of GlassPrint 2011 to Dsseldorf in November. A glasstec spokeswoman said GlassPrint is recognised as the leading event in Europe for the decoration of glass, and they were looking forward to welcoming the 2011 event to Dsseldorf – the home of glasstec. As glass decoration is a key part of the process that is of great interest to many glasstec exhibitors and visitors, the spokesperson expressed pleasure at being able to “power GlassPrint 2011 and offer our full support to the event”. Along with glasstec, other major industry organisations sponsoring GlassPrint include DGG, Glass Global, SGCDPro and SGIA. glasstec“s support is a major development for the two-day conference and exhibition, which will expand upon the highly successful 2005, 2007 and 2009 events. Taking place at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel on 23-24 November, GlassPrint 2011 will present anyone involved in glass decoration with the latest trends and developments for flat and hollow glass. Industry experts will offer delegates the latest information on advanced technologies for digital and screen processes. The conference will once again be accompanied by an exhibition of specialist suppliers of equipment, consumables, technology and services, who will display the latest developments in inks, pre-press technology, printing equipment and supplies.
