Wheaton Industries Inc., located in Millville, New Jersey, has announced the acquisition of UK Laboratory Sales Limited (LSL), a leading manufacturer and marketer of tubular glass products and laboratory consumables. Founded in 1980, LSL is a privately owned manufacturer and distributor of laboratory products that has become one of the UK“s premier manufacturers of tubular glass products for the Biotechnology and Cosmetic markets, as well as marketing plastic laboratory consumables to UK“s National Health Service (NHS) and Education markets. This strategic investment further strengthens our position as a market leader of speciality packaging and related instruments for cell-based research, chemical compound, in vitro diagnostics, and speciality pharmaceutical markets, said Stephen Drozdow, President and CEO of Wheaton Industries.
