Fletcher-Terry LLC in Farmington, Connecticut, has announced the creation of a operating unit dedicated to focussing and growing its industrial glass cutting business in the global market place. This is the result of our long-term strategic planning announced at the beginning of 2010 by the new ownership management team, says Blair Tomalonis, president. Glass cutting started this company back in 1868 and we see tremendous opportunity in the global market. Several personnel changes will also come about with the formulation of the new business unit. Brian Cone, who has been with the company for 13 years, has been appointed product manager for the industrial business. He will work closely with Fletcher-Terry“s domestic and international customers as well as heading up new product development for the industrial group. John Wu has been hired to penetrate the China glass market and will be operating from the Chinese sales office and manufacturing facility. Wanda Rivera, who has been a Fletcher representative for six years, has also joined the industrial team and will be the main contact for all customer service related topics.
