The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) announced at the end of June that Sejal Architectural Glass has been removed from the BSE IPO Index with effect from 12 July. At the same time, the Exchange also replaced Astra Microwave Products in the BSE 500 index with Grasim Industries, also as of 12 July. Both changes were made in the Exchange“s mid-cap and small-cap indices. The Exchange has also excluded Jaiprakash Power Ventures, Cummins India, Piramal Healthcare, Colgate Palmolive (India), Exide Industries, Godrej Consumer Products Limited, Castrol India, Nagarjuna Fertiliser & Chemicals, Kingfisher Airlines, Andrew Yule & Co and REI Six Ten Retail, from its mid-cap index. Standard Chartered plc, Kirloskar Brothers, Rallis India, Tube Investments of India, Ballarpur Industries, Escorts Limited, Greaves Cotton, S Kumars Nationwide, Binani Cement, BASF India and Radico Khaitan are also included. With regards to its small-cap index, the Exchange also excluded 36 scrips and included 57, with effect from 12 July.
