Serbian Privatization Agency has announced the failed re-tender for the sale of Glass Industry “Pancevo” as, according to the announcement by the Tender Commission, the fifth unsuccessful tender did not receive any offers. Two previous attempts has already been made to sell the glassmaker, which is the only flat glass manufacturer in Serbia, with a production capacity of tempered glass for the automotive industry, as well as special glass, medical packaging and cast glass. The plant employs about 400 workers, on an area of 150,000 sq.m. Capital of the company was estimated at about EUR 17 million.
