The 8th ICCG conference will be organized in Braunschweig, Germany, and will take place 13-17 June 2010, at the Conference Center, Stadthalle Braunschweig, Germany. Organized by the International Organizing Committee of ICCG and the Fraunhofer Institute for Surface Engineering and Thin Films IST, the focus of the conference is to bring together science and industry. Scientists, technologists, practitioners and managers will have the chance to discuss the latest trends in the field of large-area coatings on glass and plastics. Besides universities and research institutes, the conference addresses coating manufacturers, material and equipment suppliers as well as all kinds of user industries. The conference will also include a series of Short Courses, on 13 June 2010, 12:30 – 6:00 p.m., during which experts will give educational lectures to provide fundamental and technological backgrounds in specific conference topics regarding materials, processes, and applications, such as: o Carrier Transport and Device Design for Oxide Semiconductors; o Roll-to-Roll Atmospheric Pressure Processes; o Roll-to-Roll Vacuum Processes; o Solar Cells; o Switchable Coatings; and o Photocatalysis. A technical exhibition will also take place during the conference, where companies and organizations will have the opportunity to present their equipment, products, and services.
