Heye International GmbH (HI) has acquired 100% of the share capital of Busch & Spreen GmbH (B&S). B&S supplies cold end inspection equipment to the international container glass industry from its HQ in Nienburg/Germany. With a worldwide customer base, the company is recognised as one of the leaders in its field. HI is a leading international provider of glass technology to the global container glass industry. The business has built its long-standing reputation on the principles of high quality, high performance equipment and technical expertise. Following the acquisition, HI will integrate the B&S product portfolio with its existing range of cold end inspection equipment. This will benefit their combined customers in the supply of high end inspection solutions, covering the entire scope of glass containers. The base in Nienburg will become the HI Centre of Excellence for all cold end inspection solutions.
