Ford Motor Co. has completed the sale of its automotive and architectural glass business to Tulsa, Oklahoma, investor Robert Price, for an undisclosed sum. The operation is part of Automotive Components Holdings LLC, which Ford created in 2005 to manage 17 plants that it bought back from Visteon Corporation. The purchase was part of a bailout of the struggling autoparts-maker. Ford spun off Visteon in 2000. Robert Price“s Zeledyne company is buying the glass business, including its plants in Nashville, Tennessee, and Tulsa, Oklahoma and a subsidiary in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. ACH Glass has about 1,600 employees in the US and Mexico.
