Mexico“s Vitro has consolidated its position in France thanks to the acquisition on 1 April 2008 of Verre et Glaces d“Epinay of Paris through Vitro“s Spanish subsidiary, Vitro Cristalglass. The new company, which will be called Vitro Cristalglass France SAS, will process and market building glass for the French residential and commercial market. The firm has a 40-strong workforce. The new addition raises the number of Vitro Cristalglass facilities in Spain, Portugal and France to twelve.
