Cam Merkezi has been certified as an ‘Environment Friendly Company’

Strengthening its pioneering position in its 44th year in the glass sector, Cam Merkezi continues to create differences with its efforts in the field of environmental sustainability.

Cam Merkezi proudly announces an important achievement that crowns its environmental awareness. In September 2018, the company’s production plants successfully passed the environmental controls regulated by the local authorities and have been certified as an ‘Environment Friendly Company’.
For Cam Merkezi, this is not first success in the field of environmental sustainability. In 2017, in fact, the company collaborated with Carbon Trust, a United Kingdom based organization which is an independent, expert partner of leading organizations around the world, helping them contribute to and benefit from a more sustainable future through carbon reduction, resource efficiency strategies and commercializing low carbon Technologies, to declare to the nation its carbon emission level. At the end, Cam Merkezi – Yorglas had a big score in its industry and proudly announced that Yorglas is the pioneer in the glass industry, and has joined the Environmental Foot Print Project for Businesses.
This Project was an important opportunity for Yorglas to create awareness and make a state determination. At the end; it is stated that, production of 1 m2 satin glass of Cam Merkezi – Yorglas causes only 2900 gr carbon to the nature.
With its three well-known brands Yorsan, Yorim and Yorglas, Cam Merkezi exports to more than 55 countries all over the world. To meet its global customer bas,e Cam Merkezi will be exhibiting at glasstec in Dusseldorf. The company will showcase its solutions in Hall 10 on booth D48.
