Production of float-glass and sheet glass rose in November by 3.4% to 1.4 million square meters, compared with November 2004, as reported by the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine. Production, however, fell in November by 3.3% compared with October. In January-November, production of float-glass and sheet glass fell by 8.1% compared with January-November 2004, to 14.1 million square meters. As reported, production of float-glass and sheet glass rose in October by 4.2% to 1.5 million square meters, compared with October 2004. Compared with 2003, production of float-glass and sheet glass rose by 17.6% to 16.7 million square meters in 2004.
