German investment company Adcuram Industriekapital said on 21 March 2005 that it has acquired 91.3% of the Croatian laboratory glass manufacturer Schott Boral from Dutch Schott Benelux B.V, a unit of German glass maker Schott. Adcuram signed a contract with Schott Benelux on 16 March 2005 for the sale and transfer of 332,215 common shares in Schott Boral, equivalent to 91.3% of the company“s capital, Croatian lawyer Mladen Markoc said in a statement to the Varazdin Stock Exchange (VSE). Adcuram will bid to acquire the rest of the Croatian company, the statement said. The value of the transaction was not disclosed. Shares in profit-making Schott Boral have not traded on the VSE since early March 2005.
