Swarovski Ibrica, the Spanish arm of the Austrian crystal leader, has appointed Joan Carles Cifr its new Director of Human Resources. He assumes the task of managing, developing and implementing the Tirol-based multinational“s human resources policies in Spain, in line with the group“s business strategy for Spain and Portugal. Cifr, aged thirty-five, graduated in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and also holds a diploma in labor relations from the same institution. In his career to date, the new human resources chief has been closely involved in the insurance sector with posts in the HR departments of La Suiza, Eagle Star and Zurich insurance.
