Polish Bank Handlowy extended credit of PLN 8.0 million (USD 2.4 million/EUR 1.9 million) to listed Polish glassworks HSG Irena SA on 2 November 2004. The interest rate on the credit is fixed at one-month WIBOR plus the bank“s margin. HSG Irena will use the credit to finance its operations. The deadline for repayment of the credit is 27 October 2005. HSG Irena, set up in 1924, was listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) in 1992. The company produces cut-glass and lead crystal and soda glass products and exports its output to the United States, the UK, Spain, France, Ireland and Japan.
