Turkish glassware maker Anadolu Cam, is to increase its holding in chemicals producer Soda Sanayi to 14.24%, it was reported on 3 December 2003. Anadolu Cam decided at its management board meeting on 2 December 2003 to buy a TRL 13.023 trillion (USD 8.9 million/EUR 7.4 million) stake at a price of TRL 1,460 (USD 0.001/EUR 0.001) per share in Soda Sanayi. The stake has a nominal value of TRL 8.92 trillion (USD 6.1 million/EUR 5.1 million). Anadolu Cam will close the transaction within a week, the company said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB).
