Leading Tunisian glass manufacturer Sotuver has cut its dividend for 2002 by 25% from the pay-out for 2001, company officials said on 2 July 2003. They said Sotuver, which in 2002 saw its profit drop 57.9% to TND 1.269 million (USD 1.008 million) compared to 2001, will pay a dividend of TND 0.6, down from TND 0.8 for 2001. Listed on the Tunis stock market, Sotuver shares rose almost 3% to TND 8.65 in early trading on 2 July 2003. The share lost 10.64% so far this year after falling 42.77% in 2002.
