US-based producer of combustion systems for industry, Eclipse, Inc. announced the election of its European market manager for metals and glass, Mr. Mike Debier, to a three-year term as President of the CECOF (European Committee of Industrial Furnace and Heating Equipment). Debier“s election will regroup the furnace and burner manufacturers of Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK and Switzerland in the association. Earlier this year, Debier was named chairman of TC186, the European Standard technical committee, which took part in the standardization of industrial thermo-processing equipment and created the “Euronorm” standards for industrial furnaces.
