Japanese refractories business Isolite Insulating is forecasting parent company sales of JPY 10.50 billion and net profits of JPY 140 million for the year to 31 March 2001, compared with previous-year figures of sales totalling JPY 8.83 billion and losses of JPY 543 million. For the six months to 30 September 2000, Isolite reported sales of JPY 4.6 billion and a net profit of JPY 101 million, against JPY 4.1 billion and JPY 10 million respectively for the same period of 1999. At a group level, for the six months to 30 September, Isolite forecast sales of JPY 6 billion and a net profit of JPY 132 million.
